SAN DIEGO, CA, August 16th, 2022 – Serenity EHS, a leading Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability software company for the ServiceNow platform,  announced today that the company has completed a $5 million Series Seed funding round led by Base 10 Partners. The funding will accelerate the company's leadership in Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) via team and platform expansion, including its expansion into adjacent Operational Workflow solutions built on the ServiceNow platform.

"We founded Serenity EHS to build on the success we experienced, helping companies leverage the ServiceNow platform to drive their digital transformation. We are expanding what the platform offers to support additional operational workflows tied to EHS and ESG," said Peter Oneppo, Co-founder and CEO of Serenity EHS. "This fundraise, along with our partnership with Base10, will help us bring additional solutions to market faster and do more for our customers."

Serenity EHS is an Elite ServiceNow partner founded at the beginning of 2020 to develop enterprise software built natively on the ServiceNow platform. Serenity EHS has had early success with name-brand customers in the federal government, manufacturing, retail, and energy sectors. The company has brought several solutions to market, including products focused on EHS Incident, Inspection & Audit, Operational Risk & Compliance, Sustainability, and Physical Security. Serenity EHS Co-Founder Kris Markham sold his first company to ServiceNow in 2015 to help expand its governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) offering. Peter and Kris spent over four years in the ServiceNow product management organization and future products team.

“I couldn’t have asked for better people to work with. The suggestions that they gave throughout were top-notch. They didn’t just say yes; they came up with solutions that helped to shape a better system overall. The Serenity EHS software is extremely user-friendly, exactly what we needed, and has helped us save time while reducing operational risk.” Testimonial from Kristen Vaccher, Pembina Pipeline Corp. Senior Process Safety Engineer, a Serenity EHS customer.

Serenity EHS plans to use this fresh round of funding to increase its headcount and expand its operational workflow product offerings on the ServiceNow platform.

"ServiceNow has become the go-to platform for the enterprise, helping to transform departments like IT, HR, and Customer Service,” said Rexhi Dollaku, Partner at Base10 Partners. “Serenity has a unique opportunity to help some of the largest companies in the world extend their investment in ServiceNow and digitally transform the way companies operate in warehouses, laboratories, retail stores, and manufacturing plants, creating better employee experiences, mitigating risk, and reducing cost. We are thrilled to partner with Peter, Kris, and the team as they embark on this journey.”
