Your Team

The Serenity Services team is dedicated to ensuring our customers' success by deeply understanding their processes, challenges, and objectives. We configure the Serenity solution set to align with each customer's unique processes, goals, and desired outcomes. With a focus on maintaining close collaboration with our Product team, we provide valuable insights for product enhancements.

Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Serenity Services team. In this role you will be guiding clients from the initial engagement through to the successful completion of their implementation projects. Your role will focus on understanding client needs, demonstrating our software capabilities, facilitating customer workshops, managing requirements gathering, owning the project backlog, and ensuring a smooth transition to our implementation teams while securing a strong, ongoing relationship.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, a desire to grow a deep understanding of complex EHS business processes, experience in software development projects, and familiarity with the ServiceNow platform.

What You'll Do

• Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and desired outcomes.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential customers to tailor demonstrations and discussions around customer-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and implementation teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project initiation.
• Lead requirements gathering and process working sessions with customer stakeholders.
• Bridge the gap between out-of-the-box product functionality and customer requirements to deliver optimal solutions.
• Manage project backlogs by preparing clearly written epics, user stories, and tasks to drive development.
• Document processes, systems, workflows, use cases, and other requirements to support project deliverables. 
• Assist customers with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by providing training and feedback gathering best practices. 
• Produce customer-facing documentation such as user guides and training manuals.
• Provide feedback to product development teams based on client interactions to help in refining product offerings.

Your Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst in software development teams.
• 1 year experience working with ServiceNow from a technical perspective.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Agile methodology, Jira, and preparing development backlogs with clear, concise, and well-written user stories.
• Strong ability to build positive relationships with clients to determine implementation requirements efficiently.
• Proficient problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience supporting testing and performing gap analysis of current state test efforts.

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Knowledge of Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) processes and standards.
• Experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
